Life of Loan Flood Hazard Determination - $13/property
Same product as the standard flood hazard determination except this product will be monitored for future mapping changes or other changes that would cause the flood zone status of the property to change. Monitoring will be as required under regulatory guidelines. If future zone status change is detected, FCH will issue a new revised certificate to the loan servicer on record. The life of loan certificate, if issued, is at no charge. Includes a standard declarations sheet if the determination finding shows the property is affected by the 100-year flood plain.
Recertification - $6/property
Available when FCH is asked to recertify a property for which there is a valid certification in place that was originally made by FCH, and was for the same lender. The Recertification product is the same product as a new determination. Life of lona monitoring, if in place on the original certification, will transfer at no additional charge on the recertification. This can be a valuable product since interest rates and property appreciation has led to many and frequent refinance or second mortgage transactions. Includes a standard declarations sheet if the determination finding shows the property is affected by the 100-year flood plain.
Home Mortage Declarations Act (HMDA) Information - no charge
Given on the certificate when requested by the customer. HMDA data is not given unless specifically requested. HMDA data consists of the State Code #, County Code #, MSA # and Census Tract #.
Second Opinions - $50/property
Flood Clearing House will render a 2nd opinion for a determination produced by another entity that is being contested by either the lender, the property owner, or both. 2nd opinion determinations result in the same product applicable from the above descriptions and almost always contain the detailed overlay document on the back. Includes a standard declarations sheet if the determination finding shows the property is affected by the 100-year flood plain.
Life of Loan Upgrades - $6/property
FCH will, when requested, upgrade an existing valid standard flood hazard determination to a life of loan product, The standard determination must be still valid under the guidelines and must have been originally produced by FCH and for the same lender. If provided, a LOL upgrade certificate will carry the latest mapping data and will carry the date that it is issued. Includes a standard declarations sheet if the determination finding shows the property is affected by the 100-year flood plain.
Signature Sheets - $1.00 adder
This is a standardized form on FCH letterhead that contains determination data in a letter format with provisions for borrower/lender signatures at the bottom. The signature sheet is only provided if specifically requested except when the finding places the property in the 100-year flood plain. When the property is found to lie in the 100-year flood plain, the signature sheet is proviced automatically by FCH at no additional charge, and the customer can use it or not at their discretion.
Copy of Flood Insurance Rate map - $1.00 adder
Provided at no additional charge when property is found to be located in the 100-year flood plain.
Faxed copy of certificate - $1.00 adder
Mailed Certificate original - $1.00 adder
